Anthony Martin - New York
Chief Executive Officer
Anthony has a passion for consumer insight which makes things happen for business and brands. He co- founded BAMM in 2007 because he was frustrated by strategy and insights that lacked the vibrancy and power to move clients to act. He relocated to New York in 2017 to start and lead the BAMM New York office. He believes in a method-agnostic approach to solving client problems drawing on behavioral economics and storytelling to solve brand, communication and innovation challenges.
Matt Baker - London
Chief Creative Officer
Matt is co-founder with a passion for communicating insight and strategy in compelling, inspiring ways. He is passionate about BAMM’s method agnostic approach and how we can action insights more effectively across client businesses.
Ed Garey - London
Chief Client Officer
Ed manages some of BAMM’s largest accounts, including Shell, Expedia and McDonald’s, where he uses all his experience to deliver concise, impactful presentations that drive real change across the client’s organisation. He is loves solving thorny problems, taking new approaches to help reframe the question and find new answers.
Prior to joining BAMM, Ed spent 6 years running a successful research and innovation consultancy, spearheading the development of online qualitative and co-creation methodologies.
Paul White - London
Strategy Director
Paul has over a decade of experience helping brands to understand people and make the right decisions that will benefit both the brand and their customers. Having worked on a number of incredibly complex multimarket projects for tech, media and finance giants he’s perfectly placed to deliver method agnostic strategy and thinking to any brand problem. Outside of work, you’ll find Paul walking his three dogs or getting tattooed (not at the same time though).
Elizabeth Jones - London
Associate Strategy Director
Elizabeth is a brand strategist with a background in innovation and special interest in Development. She believes that business can be a force for good in the world and that brands are uniquely placed to drive change in ever evolving social contexts. She's fascinated by people and what drives their behaviour and has spend the last 10 years exploring this with brands across the world.
Sonia Skins - Shanghai
Insight Consultant
Sonia is a bilingual strategist and visual ethnographer. A native Mandarin Chinese speaker with a PhD in design ethnography, she has delivered on numerous challenging yet inspiring projects for top global brands since 2011. But what truly sets Sonia apart is her unique experience of living and working in the UK and China. This gives her a distinct edge in identifying impactful behaviours and trends, bridging the gap between "hello" and "nĭ hăo" across cultures!
Sophie Bradford - New York
Strategy Director
Sophie, an MA holder in Classical Archaeology, utilizes her social science skills to gain cultural insights. She started her career at KantarTNS and currently works at BAMM, focusing on pioneering and innovative methods. Sophie relocated to New York in 2018 and manages global projects for various clients such as Coca-Cola, Meta, Pernod, and Reckitts. Her expertise lies in observation-based methods like ethnography, which provides clients with human insights that help drive business growth.
Michael Hall - London
Motion Graphics Artist
Michael is passionate about motion graphics and animation and has enjoyed coming up with creative ways to convey otherwise complicated messages for a number of brands over the years.
Working within the 2D and 3D space, and within each company's own distinct brand, he loves to create engaging and compelling content.
Outside of work, he would be sitting behind a drum kit working on crazy rolls and a tight groove!
Hélène Jeunet - London
Creative Executive
With a background in journalism, starting her career in the news industry, Hélène has worked as a filmmaker for the past 10 years. At BAMM, she started as a videographer and video editor and became a creative lead, producing innovative and meaningful video content. She believes that strong storytelling and powerful images can be achieved in a humanistic approach particularly in the research industry.
Amy Zainfeld - New York
Senior Operations Manager
Amy is motivated and persistent in her pursuit to deliver clients the highest quality deliverables on time, on budget and always with a smile. Amy is on a constant quest for knowledge and is passionate about exploring new cultures through global travel, food and photography.
Cristina Viladomiu Noguer - New York
Insight Manager
Cristina, an international development and anthropology expert, seeks to understand people and culture's complexity. With a passion for anthropology and ethnography, she conducts research at BAMM, focusing on economics, politics, and culture. She has worked with top global brands on brand strategy, innovation, and social listening. Her research on cultural heritage and inequality has taken her to Haiti and Myanmar. When not working, Cristina explores London's food scene to find her new favorite spot.
Alex Marshall - London
Senior Insight Executive
Alex's passion for analysis and storytelling through visualising data began during his Human Geography studies at Durham University. At BAMM, he seeks to blend data science with visual creativity, delivering actionable insights to clients in engaging ways. Outside of work, Alex is an avid music listener and a Tottenham Hotspur fan, for his sins.
Sarah Cziner - New York
Senior Insight Executive
Sarah has a passion for understanding lived experiences, especially those that take people out of their comfort zones. She is driven by uncovering cross-cultural consumer insights, and has a specific interest in unearthing Gen Z nuances. Sarah began her career at BAMM getting to implement online and in-person moderation skills, but what truly sets her apart is her background in Psychological Science where she applies both scientific theory and human empathy in her approach.
Emma Coleman - London
Senior Insight Executive
With a background in politics & international development, Emma’s passion lies in uncovering market nuances within multinational studies. Emma is particularly interested in understanding how cultural contexts impact the way people think and behave, which in turn influences how they interact with brands. Outside of work, Emma loves trying different restaurants in London or going to yoga classes.
Prerana Srungaram - London
Senior Operations Manager
With a background in Film, TV and American studies, Prerana started her career in production management across both client and agency sides. During her time at BAMM, she has progressed into Operations Manager and overseeing the project management of insight projects and supporting the creative team. When she’s not busy eating her way around London, you can find her leading the BAMMerhead Sharks with Anna during Softball season!
Carolyn Fahrner - New York
Insight Executive
With a background in social psychology and philosophy, Carolyn has a strong passion for understanding what drives people. She joined BAMM in 2021 after graduating from Skidmore College, bringing with her knowledge of how societal structures impact behavior implicitly and explicitly. She believes qualitative research is about reconciling what people know to be true about themselves with the larger societal context under which people exist.
Emma Wolkenstein - New York
Insight Executive
After studying cultural and political anthropology and having her academic work published, Emma’s work at BAMM largely focuses on applying her qualitative research experience to better study cultural nuance and perspectives with a commercial lens. From cocktail semiotics to metaverse socialization, Emma loves using creative new approaches to better understand behavioral and societal dynamics. Emma is currently trying to reach all 7 wonders of the world, or finish one (of her many) craft projects.
Abby Kolenbrander - New York
Insight Manager
Abby's background in psychology and public policy ignited her passion for utilizing behavioral economics to investigate human behavior. She now channels this passion to create innovative solutions for client challenges. Her weekend activities vary with the seasons, hiking, paddle boarding, climbing, or skiing.
Anna Dobson - London
Strategy Director
Cutting her research teeth with a degree in psychology, in media agency insight teams and client-side, Anna’s hybrid background means she has a strong focus on building insights that can travel throughout multiple stakeholders and inspire strong strategic planning. She loves anything to do with water and will usually be found racing on a boat somewhere at weekends…or at brunch.
Dinisha Cherodian - London
Strategy Director
Dinisha is a Strategy Director at BAMM, with 17 years of experience, she has always sought to deliver insights that are strategic, to the point and continue to live within the business. Having started out in Pharmaceutical market research, Dinisha loved the patient side of her work, talking to real people about their emotions and needs, so the move to consumer just made sense and she now works across FMCG, Beverages, Finance and Tech.
Nicole Harris - London
Creative Executive
Nicole is a creative who believes in the power of video storytelling to make a commercial impact. With a background in TV Post Production, working on shows for top companies such as Netflix, Amazon Prime and BBC, Nicole's experience has led her to realise that the vibrancy and power of storytelling can be used to solve client problems in the research world.
Sophie Hatch - New York
Junior Creative Executive
Sophie, a recent graduate of Skidmore College, joined BAMM in 2022 as a Junior Creative. She studied English Literature and Documentary Film and now works with the team to create digital media content that showcases BAMM's work and research. Sophie has experience leading canoe and camping trips and enjoys spending her free time in nature.
Melchior Tamisier-Fayard - New York
Insight Executive
Melchior has been a part of BAMM since Fall 2022, coming from an academic background in ethnography, qualitative research, and cognition studies. His focus on deep-diving into consumer experiences and developing profound analysis is paired with his interest on the socio-cultural impacts of technology and AI. His spare time is spent honing his bass playing, practicing Muay thai, and going for long bike rides around NYC.

Anuja is passionate about partnering with her clients in answering strategic business questions and helping them grow great brands. She believes in uncovering the story behind the numbers and weaving meaningful and strategic insights that inspire action. For her, research is not just about data - it is about understanding how people think and behave and uncovering how brands can build stories that resonate with people!
Ruth Brecher - London
People and Culture Manager
Ruth began her career building several award-winning web communities and established one of the UK’s first SEO agencies. With a BSc. in Psychology from Manchester University and a fascination for all things ‘People’, she went on to a career developing deep expertise in Culture, Wellbeing and Employee Engagement. Her role at BAMM is the shaping and delivery of a dynamic People strategy and creating a high-performance environment where our team can grow, flourish and work to their best potential.
Victoria Landell Mills - London
Insight Executive
Victoria joined BAMM as an Insight Executive in January 2023, with a market research background in cultural Semiotics and mapping global trends. She is passionate about comparing consumer cultures within categories and believes that we must endeavour to understand one another's perspectives, as they are rooted in history and geopolitics.
Hester Depel - London
Senior Insight Executive
Hester came to BAMM having spent several years in kids and family research, bringing a generational and youth-focused lens to client briefs and project design. She believes in the power of creativity to unlock the best insights from our participants, as well as inspiring clients with impactful stories and solutions to their business problems.Outside of work she loves singing, practising martial arts and trying the latest TikTok food craze.
Matthew Berkley - London
Senior Insight Executive
Matthew studied Political Science at San Francisco State University and managed political campaigns in the Bay Area before moving to his current role as Senior Insight Executive at BAMM. His ability to extract compelling narratives from complex data and societal trends fuels his passion for research. In his free time, you can find him running, lamenting the ups and downs of his San Francisco 49ers, or enjoying a good book at his local pub.
Tom Ford - New York
Creative Director (Freelance)
Tom has directed and photographed his way around the globe shooting documentaries, commercials, and fashion films for the likes of Gucci, Strava and Unilever; beating the likes of Droga 5 and Contra to awards in the process. At BAMM Tom heads up the creative team in NY, using his array of filmmaking experience to deliver insight and production work, in new interesting ways.
Angus Henderson - London
Exec. Producer (Freelance)
Angus is an Exec. Producer with over twenty-four years of broad based award-winning film, animation, broadcast and social video production for brands, channels, feature films, platforms, agencies and clients. He loves scripting, lenses, editing and every part of the creative process and wants your BAMM video project to be a success.
Julia Makhalova-Chi - New York
Strategy Director
Julia had been a cultural strategist long before she knew that the discipline formally existed. For the past decade, Julia has brought the "human" to the human-centered approach in innovation and design. Through qualitative research, data analysis, and storytelling, Julia has created innovation platforms, brand strategies, and digital advertising campaigns for the world's most exciting brands in the U.S., China, and France. Some of the brands she has worked with include Google, Reddit, and Alibaba, among others.
